4 Reasons to Take the Leap Today

Somewhere, deep down, you know it’s time to make a change. Whether it’s your personal life, career or something else, if something is constantly eating away at you, it might be time to make a change.

Time to Take the Leap

Taking a big leap in life can be scary. For me, it was a move across the country. I lived in Europe before, but only for six months while I was studying abroad and then traveling through western Europe.

Then two years ago quarter life crisis kicked in and a flip switched in my life. I was suddenly ready for a new adventure and knew I had to make a move. I was often anxious and my mind was always wandering to the “what if … ” I knew if I didn’t do something then and there I would regret it later in life.

Moving across the country from the small college town of Madison, Wisconsin to sunny San Diego, California was a huge, life-changing move. It was the best decision of my life.

That doesn’t mean it wasn’t scary. It was. But family and friends supported the move, knowing it would bring me the most happiness.

Keep in mind, this decision is the best decision for you, not everyone else. If you’re happy and your best self, it’s only going to add more value to the lives around you.

4 Reasons to Take The – Career, Life, Love – Leap Today:

  1. Cliche but true, “A year from now you’ll wish you started today.” – Unknown. There might never be a right or easy time to make your move. Consider the benefits of taking a chance that might improve your quality of life. Meanwhile, your well being is priceless.
  2. A Year From Now You Will Wish You Started Today
  3. It’s okay to not have all of the answers. You know in your heart what you need to do right now in order to achieve happiness. You do not need to know what that means a year or even five down the line. It’s important to consider the future, but you don’t have it figured out quite yet. Take one day and one step at a time. Everything will fall into place.You-Dont-Need-All-The-Answers
  4. You are the most essential advocate for your own health and well being. Others in your life might think they know what’s best. But you’re the only one who gets to walk around being you all day. How do you feel? If you feel a heavy weight on your shoulders and heart, it’s time to make a move.
  5. Following your passion will reap greater success. When there’s no passion for what you’re doing in life, then your career and relationships are going to suffer. There is so much more ambition behind a passion-driven action. Even if you don’t make a major leap in your life right now, what can you do in the meantime to add more passion into your day-to-day?

Now go out there and take the leap bravely. It may not be easy, but we promise it will be worth it.
