Heather first started practicing yoga 10 years ago to avoid the college gym and find peace of mind while double majoring in Spanish and Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The magic started with a Rodney Yee DVD and continued through the years as Heather explored various yoga studios, styles and teachers.
Three years ago Heather moved to sunny San Diego, California where she discovered her first outdoor yoga class facing the ocean. It was then that she fell in love with yoga and back in love with herself.
She completed her 200-hour Vinyasa yoga teaching certification at Bird Rock Yoga so she could helps others find health and healing through yoga.

Heather is a great yoga instructor for all ability levels! Having never done yoga before I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect, but Heather was able to get all of her students onto the same ability level. A great way to start Saturday mornings!
