Heather first started practicing yoga 10 years ago to avoid the college gym and find peace of mind while double majoring in Spanish and Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The magic started with a Rodney Yee DVD and continued through the years as Heather explored various yoga studios, styles and teachers.
Five years ago Heather moved from Wisconsin to sunny San Diego, California where she discovered her first outdoor yoga class facing the ocean. It was then that she fully fell in love with yoga and back in love with herself.
She completed her 200-hour Vinyasa yoga teaching certification at Bird Rock Yoga so she could help others discover health and healing through yoga. Heather now teaches an all levels Vinyasa yoga flow focused on moving from the heart. Her classes are lovingly crafted for all levels to dive deep into their practice and find their edge.
What does “Dashworthy” Mean Anyway?
Your life is made up of two dates connected by a dash. Dashworthy is a reminder to make the most of every moment in between those dates.
Through yoga, we can remove the thoughts of yesterday and anxieties of tomorrow in order to be fully present and appreciate each and every moment.
